We are building a bamboo industry in Northern Uganda, and are looking for partners who share our vision and ambition. We plan to expand to over 10,000 ha of our own plantations, over 10,000 outgrower households and a bamboo processing hub.We welcome:

Below are some of our frequently asked questions;
- What is biochar?A charcoal-like material made from organic matter, which improves soil water and nutrient retention, and stores carbon for a very long time.
- Why bamboo? It grows and regenerates fast, can be harvested annually for over 50 years, has multiple products, and absorbs more atmospheric carbon than many tree species.
- How about agricultural crop farmers? Small scale farmers sell us agricultural residues for additional feedstock for biochar production.
- Where do you operate?Our current operations are in Northern Uganda, but we hope to set up in other parts of the country.
Outgrower Programme
Grow bamboo with us and earn guaranteed income from your land. We are inviting more than 1,000 households in Northern Uganda to join. When you join, you receive:
- Good quality bamboo seedlings
- Training in how to grow and care for bamboo
- A guaranteed buyer: we purchase your bamboo poles
